Alpern Rosenthal Participates in Training Webinars for IRS Agents

PITTSBURGH, PA – Alpern Rosenthal’s Brandon Otis, shareholder in the Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services Group, will be presenting Valuation Fundamentals and Theory to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents working toward becoming certified as Accredited Valuation Analysts (AVAs), on January 24, 2013.

Valuation Fundamentals and Theory is a rigorous webinar course on business valuation that provides insights into valuation theory, with hands-on training, taking students from the fundamentals of the valuation process through the advanced techniques in current use.  The primary focus of the session will be to provide the basis and framework of business valuation theory and practice. A discussion will center on the elements of valuation from financial and operational analysis through the methods found in the three approaches to valuation: asset, income, and market.

Mr. Otis’s presentation is part of a Business Valuation Certification Series, which is a comprehensive online foundational training program, teaching the body of knowledge necessary to value business enterprises. It is a dynamic online learning experience with live instructor interaction and exercises and is intended to help Internal Revenue Service Agents comprehend and analyze business valuation reports.
