	Top 100 Accounting Firm Alpern Rosenthal has been named a Top 100 Accounting Firm in the U.S. by Accounting Today for the 15th consecutive year. The Firm is also named among the Top 20 list of firms in the Mid-Atlantic region.
	Healthiest Employers of Western Pennsylvania Alpern Rosenthal has been selected by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the healthiest places to work in Western Pennsylvania. The 2013 Healthiest Employers of Western Pennsylvania awards program honors companies with the best employee health and wellness programs.
	Best of the Best Firms Alpern Rosenthal is proud to announce that it has been named INSIDE Public Accounting’s Best of the Best Firms list. INSIDE Public Accounting’s annual Best of the Best recognition honors 50 firms for their overall stellar performance based on more than 50 criteria. This year, more than 430 firms participated in the 22nd annual IPA Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms. Alpern Rosenthal was the only Pittsburgh-based firm named to this list.

The program highlights companies in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties whose operations are changing the business landscape. 	Balance Award for Workplace Sensitivity — American Society of Women Accountants Alpern Rosenthal has been honored nationally for its commitment to work/life balance and sensitivity to the concerns of women in the accounting and financial industry. The Firm was presented with the American Society of Women Accountants' (ASWA) Balance Award showcasing its ability to make the work experience rewarding and empowering. Each year, the ASWA Educational Foundation recognizes "best in market" national, regional and local companies whose commitment to work/life balance reflects a clear prioritization of both the value and the values that winning companies place on their chief asset — their people.
	Honoring our Practice Development Program Alpern Rosenthal has been locally and nationally recognized for a program which encourages practice development among all employees and allows each individual to create a practice development program that fits their interests and strengths. Through practice development, professionals can build a referral network, service current clients better as well as attract new clients. The program has been honored at the annual People Do Matter Awards which recognize Southwestern Pennsylvania employers whose human resource practices best demonstrate the importance of providing workers a positive return on their contributions of time, attention, ideas, knowledge, passion, energy and social networks to ensure productivity, efficiency and business results. In addition, the program has been honored by the Society for Marketing Professional Services and the Leading Edge Alliance, an international association of accounting firms.
