Experience
With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, Mr. Barger’s services focus on privately-held manufacturing and distribution companies. Mr. Barger is the Director of the Firm’s Wholesale Distribution Services Group. Mr. Barger also directs the Firm’s employee benefit plans audit practice and has expertise in the transportation, newspaper publishing, commercial printing and television/radio broadcasting industries. Mr. Barger has served as a team member on numerous American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Peer Review engagements. Prior to joining Alpern Rosenthal, Mr. Barger was employed with a national CPA firm for six years.
