Alpern Rosenthal Alliance Named Second Largest International Association
PITTSBURGH, Pa., February 25, 2010 – Alpern Rosenthal’s international affiliation, the Leading Edge Alliance (LEA), has been ranked as the second largest international association of independent accounting firms for 2010 by The International Accounting Bulletin. The associations were ranked according to collective revenues, and the LEA, which grew at a rate of 16% in 2009; and 29% in 2008, reached nearly $2.5 billion. Alpern Rosenthal was a founding member of this alliance, which has been in existence since 1999, and has grown to have firms in more than 90 countries.
“The idea of the association was to allow us to have global resources at a level typically only found at the international accounting firms,” said Alexander Paul, President of Alpern Rosenthal. “As the economy has become more global, the alliance has allowed us to provide our clients with top notch service on both a national and international basis.”
