Areas of Specialization
Mr. Brown, who has over 25 years of prior tax experience, including 20 years with national
accounting firms, leads Alpern Rosenthal's International Tax Services
Group. His experience includes a broad range of international tax compliance
and consulting. He has worked on a variety of complex consulting engagements
including: international acquisitions and reorganizations; repatriation
transactions; transfer pricing; technology transfer; planning for foreign
investments in the U.S.; and foreign tax credit projects.
Experience
Mr. Brown has worked on many large international engagements with U.S.-based and foreign based multinationals. In addition, Mr. Brown has represented
his clients on international tax matters before IRS examiners and appeals
agents. He also has consulted on a variety of federal tax matters including
mergers and acquisitions and tax accounting methods.
