INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) also named Alpern Rosenthal among the nation’s Top 100 accounting firms for 2008. This designation is based on one of the longest-running reports of accounting firm operations and management. To achieve this honor, firms must excel in the following:

Our ability to maintain lower than industry average personnel turnover is a result of many programs we have put in place to create an excellent work environment at Alpern Rosenthal. Our Firm was recently named as one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Alpern Rosenthal placed third in the medium sized category (50 – 500 employees) and was the highest ranked accounting firm on the list.

In addition, our Firm was named one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Alpern Rosenthal was the highest ranked public accounting firm on the list and the only one to win this award in two consecutive years. Alpern Rosenthal's Practice Development Program Has Received the Following Awards:

Alpern Rosenthal has been locally and nationally recognized for a program which encourages practice development among all employees and allows each individual to create a practice development program that fits their interests and strengths. Through practice development, professionals can build a referral network, service current clients better as well as attract new clients.
